March '07 Short story sale to On Spec.
February '07 Jack's famous, or perhaps infamous, collaboration with Harlan Ellison has begun. Progress will be charted on Harlan's website as Jack and Harlan go up the hill to fetch a pail of narrative and discuss the process on the way.
January '07 Short story sale to Asimov's--lucky 13. "Bean There" is now available at
ESCAPE POD
. Talebones accepts Jack's short story, "Two." And Gardner Dozois picks up "Life On The Preservation" for his anthology: The Year's Best Science Fiction, 24th Edition.
November '06 Short story sale to Realms Of Fantasy.
ESCAPE POD accepts "Bean There" and will present it as a podcast sometime in 2007.
April - October '06 Two more short story sales to Asimov's.
Also, Jack is collaborating with Harlan Ellison, details
TBA. And Rich Horton has selected "Life On The
Preservation" to appear in the Prime Books anthology:Science
Fiction: The Best Of The Year, 2007 Edition.

Asimov's buys "The Chimera Transit," making this Jack's
tenth sale to the magazine.

Asimov's buys "Girl In The Empty Apartment."

bibliography and reviews; new website layout; Rewind and Transplant are available to read
complete, sample of Dead Worlds has also been
added.
March '05 Professor H. Bruce
Franklin pairs "Dead Worlds" with William Gibson's
"Hinterlands" and makes them required reading for his
Science Fiction, Technology, and Society class at Rutgers
University.
January '05 Christine Cohen of the
Virginia Kidd Literary Agency agrees to represent Jack in
his efforts to find a publisher for "My Harbinger."
November '04 Story sale to
Asimov's, "Are You There."
July '04 First sale to Asimov's new
editor, Sheila Williams "Life On The Preservation."
June '04 "Dead Worlds" is
shortlisted for the
Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award.
